The origin and author of the book are not known and the astrology that is based on Lal Kitab is different from all other types of Astrology. Very little has been done to put the theory of this book amongst people. The best part about this astrology is that Lal Kitab gives several remedial measures and suggestions. Other astrology gives few remedial measures which are usually difficult and expensive. On the other hand, Red book suggests remedial measures for every house on the planet. The Ascendant/ Lagna or Sign/Rashi are not actually considered and houses and planets are also very simple and different from other astrological systems. It does not consider other degrees or charts of planets. Combinations and yogas are different and relatively few. Moon chart and varshaphla system or Annual Horoscope is also different from other astrological systems.
